Who would have thought that this farm track is an old railway? It was in use until the latter half of the 20th century as a mineral railway. Ironstone was excavated from open cast mines nearby and the railway took the iron ore away by rail.
Parking is available on the grass verge opposite. There is no need to open the gate or trespass. You are looking for a nano cache.
