This is our 7th May Long weekend - Northern Manitoba event cache! We hope to see new faces and reconnect with old friends.
In True Freudian Fashion we hope everyone will come, regress and recharge their psychic energy for 2 fun filled days! Forget your obsessions and compulsions - arrive prepared for some excitement!
Available again: Night Caches – get the flashlights and fire tacks out – once it is dark there will be some adult and kid night caches to hit - always good for a laugh!
Day 1 – Saturday May 19, 2012
For those of you with the “proper equipment” and repressed aggression – paintball activities are planned.
For those of you without the “proper equipment” – seek gratification elsewhere!
This day can also be used to explore the area and hide a temporary cache (or two) for our Sunday competition. Since we are all motivated by the desire to feel pleasure we are particularly looking forward to seeing the 2011 champs “TB/RB” and “RW/RW” (the winners of the good trophy) dethroned and “KR3” awarded the gargoyle trophy again (hey, better them than any of you right) at this year's competition! Game On! **Please remember to bring back the trophies.**
Day 2 – Sunday May 20, 2012
Gratification At Its Finest! Cache On!
We will meet at 10 am - be prepared to Fixate on your GPS. Check at the camp office to locate KR3 and Capt. Kirk & McDee’s campsite, as this will be where we gather.
You will have time to hobnob with fellow cachers so you may want to show off your collection of Travel Bugs, geo-coins, FtF certificates etc. at this time.
Afternoon - BBQ / Bonfire
General Information
You do not need to hide a cache to participate in the event on Sunday, we just need another excuse to get together and talk CACHE! Bring whatever food, drinks and toys you will require for you and your family to enjoy a bonfire BBQ picnic, ?swimming? and playing in the sand. Several geocaching families have once again decided to camp for the whole weekend – feel free to do the same at the above coordinates.
If you plan on hiding a temporary cache for the competition on Sunday the only thing you need is a container and several stickers or a stamp that will identify your cache. (E-mail us or post a note if you have any questions.)
Don’t forget your GPS, Id and Ego. There are several regular caches in the area you may wish to find.
