On the outskirts of the Town of Hartwick lies a little known gem known as Goey Pond. This cache is rather simple, once you get past the terrain of the approach.
There are two ways to access Goey Pond. Please note that from either direction (from ST HWY 28 or CO HWY 45) the road is SEASONAL and not open to vehicles November 31-April 1; or anytime there is snow on the ground! For the standard "car cacher" you will strongly prefer to access the area from CO HWY 45. For the more ambitious...or those with 4WD, you may approach from ST HWY 28 (**shorter routes are not always the better route)
