Geocache Description:

A different type of cache about flooding.

From the Album (Yes, I still call them “Albums”) Led Zeppelin IV – aka “Zoso” Released in 1971.

Some sample lyrics from the song: "If it keeps on rainin', levee’s goin' to break, When the levee breaks Ill have no place to stay. Mean old levee taught me to weep and moan, Cryin' won't help you, prayin' won’t do you no good"

Richmond’s flood wall (or Levee) is very nearby. This area and downtown Richmond has flooded from the river rising as well as heavy rainfall running down Richmond’s hills toward Shockoe Bottom and the river.

This is one of my favorite songs featuring the strong blues influence and heavy-handed John Bonham on drums.  "When the Levee Breaks" is a blues song written and first recorded by husband and wife Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie in 1929.  The song is in reaction to the upheaval caused by the Great Mississippi Flood of 1927.

Click on the "Related Website" link if you’d like to listen to the song.

OK, on to the cache details – You will need 1 liter of water to log this cache!! Approx. 34 Oz.

A Crisp Thomas Jefferson for the FTF.
Congrats to npglenn for the very quick FTF this afternoon
You are looking for a waterproof match holder. I thought this cache would be appropriate for this song and this site. No room for a pen, BYOP. When you find it, then you need to figure out how to get it. You must physically sign the log to count this as found. No room for anything except the log. PLEASE DO NOT TAMPER WITH STRAPS. TAKE YOUR TRASH WITH YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE.

Update Oct. 2013 You are told to bring water for a reason - Hold finger under bottom of tube to prevent water from running out - pour water in tube - log container, a matchstick container, will float to top and you grab it, open it, sign log and replace as found.
