How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

The first in my series of attempts to make containers out of unlikely objects.

Nothing gets wasted in the desert; anything edible gets eaten or turned into a home, so why should caches be any different? Keep your eyes peeled for vultures, buzzards or other scavengers when you're looking for this cache; but don't worry, it's been picked quite clean. This is a small, unobtrusive cache on a truly lovely stretch of highway, a park-and-grab really. Be sure to bring your own pen or pencil!

NOTE: This cache was temporarily disabled because it vanished, probably due to having been eaten by a coyote. C'est la vie; it happens. As of 6/16/12, it was replaced in a somewhat more secure fashion and the coordinates update. Darn coyotes.

Congrats to elbog2 for being FTF in Mark I of Vulture's Picnic!

Congrats to philbeer for being FTF in Mark II of Vulture's Picnic!
