Geocache Description:

The Ladies of Area 51 have started what they hope will become a long tradition of "ALL GIRLS CACHE RUNS" among themselves. (with the occasional male allowed to join, to stick his hand in all the scary places)

Every now and then, an event happens in your life that changes everything. Sometimes for the worse, but sometimes for the better. For us, it was Midwest Geobash.

The "Ladies of Area 51" (LO51) consists of a group of ladies who all began attending MWGB for one reason or another. It has since become our "MUST DO" event every year. While we do use the event to party like fools, we have also used it to become so much more. We now plan "family" meals together at the event, activities together, and just use our time to get to know each other better, and relax.

In the past 6 years, some pretty incredible relationships have begun to build. We are no longer friends, but now more like family. When faced with hardships, we know we can count on each other. When an incredibly exciting event happens in our lives, the LO51 is the first group we turn to to share our news. We've become very close, through geocaching.

More often than not, you will find us together. We are pretty easy to spot, as we are the ones in the corner laughing till we pee ourselves, sharing our stories of adventures we have had along the way, and just enjoying being together.

The LO51 decided to do an "all girls cache run" together. An event was to be held at this location on the same day, so the decision was quickly made to start our day out here, and cache after. The cache run turned into a 2 day adventure, still logging finds after midnight. We ended the day somewhere around 50+ finds, only using a guy to stick his hands in the places we weren't comfortable doing so.

In true "Team Area 51" tradition, we couldn't leave the area without giving something back to the cachers who had hidden caches for us to find today, and in their own way becoming a part of many, MANY, new stories for us to tell.

B.Y.O.P. we didn't have one small enough to fit in the container.
