The Cache
The cache is a large nano container. It is mere cms from the tarmaced cycle path
There is a gated entrance to this point. It is only for use by official vehicles. The Garda park here frequently and will not be amused if they find you're in their spot!
The Route
The cache is placed along the cycle path that leads from Exit 19 to Exit 20. It follows the main road. There is a gentle incline (in both directions) near J19 but mostly it's flat. The pathway is used mostly by walkers out for exercise
At J19 there is space at the entrance to the path for a single car to park. There is a large carpark attached to a defunct restaurant at J20 which offers the best parking.
This cache is placed near the old customs post. The area is still used as a interception point by the Garda Immigration Unit.
