Breakwater Revisited Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

The original cache was located at the end of the breakwater on a piling but high tides and storms have made access a bit dangerous by land.

The cache has been relocated to a much easier to find location, can be easily walked to most of the time, and is available 24/7, depending on tides. If the tides are greater than a 4.0 you will have to wade through the water to get to the cache, if they are less than that, no problem. If you do use caution as the rocks can be slippery. On the other hand, wait for a lower tide when things are dry. If you by chance come by kayak, come between a 5.0 and 6.0 tide for access from the water.
The cache is a small waterproof match container with a matching camo.

Please replace the lid and the cache securely as there are times that the cache will be under water.
Also please latch it securely in place.
