Take a drive down the beautiful Qu"Appelle Valley, head into Lumsden, you will be surprised at what a unique town it is! Stop in at the town office and pick up their walking tour of Lumsden pamphlet. Their museum is a real "gem" too!
From the museum, keep going West and take the very scenic "Seven Bridges Road" back to Regina. We have traveled this road many times. Years ago we found this spot had an abundance of chokecherry bushes growing along the river bank. Spent many Sunday mornings here, hanging way out on the tree branches, hoping not to fall down the bank, pails hanging from our belts and picked many pails of berries! Then the wine was made! Now, Wilf's wine had some punch, so gingerale was added and we then had "Chokecherry Goof"! You can also pick up the Trans Canada Trail here and go for a hike and explore the natural environment around you! The cows will probably stare you down, as when they hear a vehicle, they know it is "feed time". You may have muggle farmers about, so stealth will be required! Look for a small container hidden somewhere! Please replace the cache as we place it, well hidden for other cachers to find, but not get muggled. BYOP too as pencils seem to go missing! You must sign the log book for a smiley! Happy Caching & enjoy this scenic road.
