Geocache Description:

One of a series of caches located along the Clarksburg-McWhorter Rail Trail

It's a long way from one end of the trail to the other for a turtle. Sometimes a break is required.

The Clarksburg-McWhorter trail trail is a former rail line converted to recreational use as a trail. The trail runs from the southern edge of Clarksburg, WV, to just south of Lost Creek, WV. Plans are in the works to connect the trail to others in the area creating a larger trail network.

This section of the trail is in very good shape and is bicycle friendly. A designated parking area with restrooms and pic-nic table is located at the south end of the trail.
