This cache has been archived.

Cukie: Checked on this today and unfortunately a huge tree came down at first stage so I have to archive. [:(] Sorry folks. One of my very first cache hides!

Geocache Description:

This multi-site cache is in the Windsor River Trail located off Route 159 (Palisado Ave). You can access the trail from either Route 159 or Mechanic St. Please bring pencil and paper to write down coordinates for final. The final is now a smaller container than the original. If you happen to find the original container (an ammo can), please note in your log, or email the CO. Thank you!

This cache is named for my two sons. As a toddler, my youngest slipped in the muck at the edge of the river and started to slide into the water, but his older brother was quick and grabbed him to safety! We remember it well and think of that time whenever we walk the trails and pass "the spot." These trails loop around about a mile along the Farmington River, lots of wildlife to see, and a great place to walk your dog, too. Beware of some poison ivy... and muggles!
