Three Bears, Hazel Grove Time : Tuesday 29th May 2012 from 7pm.

This is a recently refurbished pub offering excellent carvery meals. Use the link above to view the menu available. We will have the use of the heated Al Fresco dining area at the front and children are welcome until 9pm. The idea of the KT events is to create an informal gathering with cachers of all ages and experience getting together to discuss caching over a beer. Each event usually has a couple of caches put out especially for the event to help walk off the food and beer.
At a social event like this it is expected that FTFs are group affairs.
The event will follow the tried and tested formula of:
7 pm - Meet at pub for beer, chat and food (earlier if you wish but we won’t be there until 7pm)
8.30 pm - Caching in the surrounding area
10-Closing Time - More Beer and chat.
I'm hoping to put out a few caches and there are other caches in Happy Valley that can be done at the same time (Happy Valley - All the way to the bank, Happy Valley - Rooted, Happy Valley, The Winding River, Happy Valley - The Tree of Time and Fred Perry Way - Style. You might also want to try and solve "Car Number Plates" and "Six Stones" before the event and pick these up too. Paths around this area can be very muddy at times so boots are recommended. There is also a nearby series in Bramhall Park if you fancy doing a few caches before the event. The nearest railway station is Hazel Grove which is a good 30 minute walk to the pub.
