Anonymike7: Progress marches on, tiles get removed, cache gets archived. Sad, but I'm glad to have had it active as long as it lasted.

Geocache Description:

This is a pretty straightforward field puzzle, intended to bring cachers to see and spend some time with this unique 9/11 memorial.

Be sure to bring a camera, as there's also a challenge associated with this location. You can find more information on the challenge here.

You can check your answer to the puzzle here .

This puzzle shouldn't take much more than some simple observation. The hardest part about finding the actual container should be the short walk to it. It's getting hard to find decent real estate for caches in downtown Providence! Please also note that parking can be rather difficult at times, especially during the day.

When you get to Stage 1, you'll notice a wall full of memorial tiles. From left to right, assign the individual panels the lower-case letters a-h. When given numeric coordinates for a particular panel, first work left to right, then bottom to top. Code in your coordinates as upper-case N AB CD.EFG, W HI JK.LMN.

A: a9, 12. Count the number of letters on this tile.
B: d. How many extra-large hearts are on this panel?
C: e16, 3. Count the words on this tile.
D: h14, 2. What is the sum of the numbers on this tile?
E: f2, 11. Count the number of sunbeams on this tile.
F: c. In column 19, how many tiles have Hebrew writing?
G: g. In the top-left 3x3 section of tiles, count the number of hearts and add 1.

H: b17, 11. Count the red stripes.
I: a. Count the number of smiling suns in row 10.
J: c13, 9. Count the words on this tile.
K: e11, 7. How many letters are in the last name of this quote's author?
L: h. Multiply the number of doves in column 2 by the number of doves in row 5.
M: g19, 8. Count the number of sunbeams on this tile.
N: b5, 5. Count the words on the right side of the tile, multiply by 2.
