Greetings Commander,
The destruction of the Death Star and the death of the Emperor is not the end of our struggle, but rather the beginning of a new phase of operations against the Rebellion. Grand Moff Haines is consolidating power in this Oversector with the aim of re-establishing order in the galaxy.
Situation:
There has been Rebel activity detected on this planet. Under interrogation rebel prisoners have revealed that an important cache of Rebel data is hidden somewhere nearby. In order to conceal the exact location the Rebels have used existing features to disguise the co-ordinates, trusting in a feeble algorithm to protect the cache! Fortunately we have the algorithm, confirmed by multiple interrogations.
A large Rebel fleet is close by and we cannot afford a battle at this time. Therefore a stealth operation is required rather than a large landing.
Mission:
You will determine the components of the co-ordinates at the given locations then proceed to recover the data cache. The Rebels must not suspect that you have the data so you will leave the cache in place and return unseen!
Execution:
Deploy probe droids to the locations given. Do not travel to these locations yourself. If your presence is suspected the Rebels may destroy the cache. Once you have the data from these sites use the following algorithm to arrive at the final co-ordinates of the data cache:
A-C, B, 0, 0, C-D, E+F, G, H-I, 0, D-J
Once you’ve copied the data from the cache return to Headquarters.
Administration and Logistics:
You are entirely on your own in this mission; there will be no resupply from off planet or contact with the locals to avoid the Rebels discovering your presence. Ensure your load-out is adequate for the task.
Communications and Signals:
You will operate under total communications blackout. The Rebels must not suspect you are on the ground. Once you have the memory module return to Headquarters.
