Placed on a tramp from Flora Carpark through to the Cobb Valley with the hope of bringing other cachers up into this unique and beautiful area. 400ml sistema container with log book, pencil and a few swaps.
Cache can reached from either the Flora Carpark through to Balloon Hut, approx 18km one way (Doc time 5.5hrs) or from Cobb Valley, via Lake Peel towards Balloon Hut, approx 9km one way (Doc time 4hrs). Both walks have stunning scenery that changes with the altitude from thick beach forest to scrub, tussock and alpine plants. Please come prepared for alpine conditions.
