Geocache Description:

Lumsden is situated in the Qu"Appelle Valley - between the confluence of the Wascana with the Qu'Appelle River on the west and Boggy Creek on the East. Take a drive into town and see what a unique town it is. Pick up a pamphlet of the "Walking Tour of Lumsden" at the town office. The Museum Heritage Park is a must to see also.

Following the scenic "Seven Bridges Road" you will see many things. There used to be seven bridges along this stretch of road but now there are only four. You will see a lot of erosion along the river banks, much from last years flooding. Most of the bridges have been replaced with new ones. The Trans Canada Trail can be found in places along here too. Most of all, you will find that Ranching is prominent and therefore, you will see a "valley of cows"! This is a very scenic area, so we wanted to show you the wonderful area, where you get off the main road and out of the city.

We placed a camoed container out here for you to find. Please take out the wires that hold the container in place and then replace the container back into the host and don't forget to replace the wires to keep it in and the squirrels out! All good cachers will carry a writing stick and replace the cache as we placed it, well hidden for the next cacher to find and no muggles to find it!

The "Log Book" must be signed for you to get a smiley face! Happy Caching and enjoy this scenic drive!
