Geocache Description:

CITO event at Mt. Fuji.

Mt. Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan at 12,389 ft.

This CITO Event will be held from 7:00am at posted coordinates at Top of Mt. Fuji on Sunday, August 26th.

Please come to top of Mt. Fuji and help clean up this beautiful area. Mount Fuji is not registered with a UNESCO World Heritage because of environmental issues, especially illegal dumping of garbage and industrial waste.

Please meet at the above coordinates to sign the logbook and exchange Geocoins and Travel Bugs. Bring your travel bugs for discovering and exchanging. Take the opportunity to meet other caches, help the environment, and have fun.

We must prioritize the safety first.
If the weather is not good at the day, the event at the top will be cancelled.
I will post the notice whether the event at the event will be held or not by Aug. 25th 7:00 a.m.

Please prepare proper gear to climb the top.
Although the climbing season is in Summer, the temperature of the top may be below the freezing point.
You must bring proper mountain boots and snowsuits.

Please bring your own gloves & garbage bags.

今年も富士山の山頂でCITOイベントを行います。
CITOイベントは8月26日（日）7:00から富士山 山頂にて行います。
富士山はごみが多いために世界遺産に指定されなかったともいわれており、ぜひ富士山を美しくするためにいらしてください。
上記の座標に指定した時間に、CITO活動、ジオコイン・トラベルバグの交換をします。

山頂イベントは安全第一で実施します。
天候が悪い場合等はイベントは中止します。イベントを実施するか8/25の7:00までに Noteとしてポストします。
富士登山には、十分な装備をお願いします。登山靴と防寒着は必須です。夏でも富士山頂は0℃程度まで気温が低下します。
イベントには各自手袋とゴミ袋をお持ちください。

参加表明の際に、入山する登山口（登山ルート）も記載してください。
