Geocache Description:

This is my first hide. It's a simple PNG. The container is small so you will need to bring your own writing instrument. It is available 24/7 with plenty of parking and is wheelchair accessible. Please do not cross any of the fences or gates without permission from the staff in the terminal building. This is a low to medium muggle area. This cache was place with the permission of the airport manager.

I will purchase a soda of your choice for the FTF! Congratulations to "woodstock 1" and "Grannie 3" for the FTF! :)

KPOF is the identifier for this airport. I have spent a lot of time here over the years. Small local airports like this often serve as a gateway to a community and help to support the local economy. I have been in love with aviation since I was a kid and earned my pilots license here when I was 17. I have seen several other students earn theirs as well and have taught several myself.

If you are into benchmark hunting there are several on the field these include..

Please obtain permission from the staff in the terminal building before hunting for benchmarks since some are very close to the runway.

Also, I encourage you to take a picture of any cool airplanes that may be parked on the ramp and post them in your log :)
