What sounds better than a weekend of fun (camping, caching, fishing, crabbing, swimming, jumping, playing, mingling & lots of giveaways) with a bunch of other fellow geocachers, family/friends and of course Yogi and Boo-Boo!
If this sounds good to you, then mark your calendar and start packing your Pic-A-Nic-Basket!! We have currently reserved a large deluxe "Group Site" that will be for Tents Only, which will include water and electric. If you must travel in a RV/Popup, please make a direct reservation with the park, contact information can be found below. There are Rental Cottages, Golf Carts, Kayaks and More avaiable for rent from the Park Store. I have provided a complete list of activites that will be avaiable during each day of the event (subject to change). All geocaching activites will be hosted at the Group Site unless otherwise noted.
This is a 3 Day Event, even though you do not have to camp nor attend each day to recieve your smiley, we will be there from beginning to end with an avaiable log.
Even though we will be hosting multiple events at the Group Site, there will be a ton of other things to do as well:

FirePit CookOff Rules: 1) Contest is available to anyone attending the Weekend at Bearnies Potluck on Sat. Evening. 2) All contest participants must register on or before July 27, 2012 at 4pm. 3) Contest is open to any dish that will be available at the Potluck that has been cooked and prepared over a Campfire/Pit. 4) No limitations on entry ideas/items 5) All entry contestants must be present at the FirePit CookOff Meeting 6) Cooking time for entries will be between the hours of 10:15am-4:30pm 7) All entries must be at the Entry Table by 4:45pm Sat. July 28t 8) There will be a silent judging and winners announced at 6:30pm 9) Remember we are camping..Warm Weather !!
If you are going to be attending for the Day/Potluck and not going to be camping the day rate pass is available for the discounted rates posted above. Camping is optional, but all Non-Campers must leave by 11PM.
We will be hosting a Giveaway and Door Prizes all at the Group Site, You do NOT have to be present to win the Giveaways. You DO have to be present to win the Door Prizes which are announced during the daily Meet & Greets. Giveaway winners will be announced during the Potluck on Sat.
We welcome any donations for the event (Giveaway items, Games...Etc..) which are appreciated but definatly not required. If interested in donating but will not be attending the event please contact me (757) 528-7004, Once again, appreciated but not required
Any additional cost park provided activities, individual sites (Rv/Popups), Laundry, Food Facitilities all must be paid directly to the park. Other Payments including but not limited to Group Reservations, Day Pass, Luncheon or Pancake Breakfast must be paid and arranged with me (JJPMKE)
All Guests will be asked to park at the OVERFLOW PARKING, there will be a golf cart available to pick up your party and belongings. Parking is only a short distance from Group Site
