Walk way around the base of Black Hill
Black Hill Walkway. A short walk along the banks of the Ohinemuri River to Black Hill. Extensive views of Waihi, from the sea to the Karangahake Gorge. There are many other walks available
People logging Black Hill are saying they miss the track up the hill and end up walking around the hill, so this cache is for them.
I think this end of the walk is the best part.
Following the stream around the hill you past lots of large trees and well planted areas
You pass one of the favourite swimming holes of the local kids.
Well worth the walk.
