A 2-mile hike to book-themed cache in a beautiful setting overlooking Mantua Reservoir and valley.
This is a great geo-cache for people (like me) who love to hike and love to read. The original cache contains 15 paperback books that I have read and enjoyed. You'll have to find the cache to discover the titles of the books. Feel free to take a book if you like (I will restock it each year), but exchanging it for a book of your own would be preferable.
When I first placed this cache it was mostly a steep off-trail trek through a lot of brush. However, in the past few years a trail system has been developed, and it is now possible to walk a very nice trail all the way to within about 100 feet of the cache. In fact, the trail actually makes a loop that completely encircles it.
The cache is a fairly large ammo box containing paperback books which may be exchanged.
