Spaliny zohrievaju vodu/vodnu paru, ktora dalej pohana parnu turbinu.

In Malzenice was at the end of 2010 put into operation power plant, working on the principle of combined cycle. Supplier of turnkey projects for the E.ON company was Siemens. Technologies enable rapid response to changes in consumption, but also the fluctuating supply of renewable energy power sources. The fuel in the plant is natural gas.
The only hydrogen-cooled generator is on a common drive shaft gas turbine (284MW) and steam turbine (152MW). Power efficiency is relatively high and moving it around 58%. The power system is connected to a separate 400kV lines with and ends in substation Križovany nad Dudváhom.
Combined cycle power plant principle involves the utilization of waste heat of gas turbines, where natural gas is burned. Flue gas heat water / water vapor, which in turn drives a steam turbine.
