The Planetarium is in the Sea garden of Varna. It's situated near the main entrance of the park.

 English The Planetarium, as it's known among the citizens of Varna, is one of the main attractions in our sea capital. It's established by Nikolay Petrov and is officialy opened on 22. May 1968. It's situated in the Sea garden, just several meters of the main entrance. There are 80 seats in the sky theatre. The diameter of the dome is 10 meters. A projector that shows the Solar System and a video projector with a computer and a sound system are installed, too. The Foucault pendulum is installed in a special tower. The height of suspension of the pendulum is 14.40 meters. This is the only one Foucault pendulum on the Balkan Peninsula. The astronomic observatory also has computer equipment, telescopes and binoculars, which are used for teaching students and for observations of the Sun, the Moon, the planets, variable stars comets, as well as for demonstration observations for citizens.






 Български Планетариумът, както е по известен сред варненци, е една от атракциите на морската ни столица. Създаден е от Николай Петров и е тържествено открит на 22 май 1968 година. Разположен е в Морската градина само на няколко метра от централния и вход. Звездната зала разполага с 80 места, а диаметърът на купола е 10 м. Монтиран е проектор за показване на Слънчевата система и видеопроектор с компютър и озвучителна техника. Махалото на Фуко е монтирано в специална кула. Височината на окачване на махалото е 14.40 м. Това е единственото махало на Фуко на Балканския полуостров. Астронмическата обсерватория разполага с компютърна техника, телескопи и бинокли, които се използват за обучение на ученици и за наблюдения на Слънцето, Луната, планетите, променливи звезди и комети, както и за демонстрационни наблюдения за граждани.




 Deutsch Das Planetarium, wie es unter den Bürgern von Varna bekannt ist, ist eine der Hauptattraktionen in unserer Meereshauptstadt. Es wurde von Nikolay Petrov gegründet und offiziell am 22. Mai 1968 eröffnet. Es befindet sich im Meeresgarten, nur einige Meter vom Haupteingang. Es hat 80 Plätze und einen Kuppeldurchmesser von 10 Metern. Ein Projektor, der das Sonnensystem zeigt und ein Video-Projektor mit Computer und Sound-System wurden installiert. Zudem befindet sich ein Foucaultsches Pendel in einem speziellen Turm. Die Höhe der Aufhängung des Pendels beträgt 14,40 Meter. Dies ist das einzige Foucaultsche Pendel auf der Balkanhalbinsel. Die Sternwarte bietet außerdem Teleskope und Ferngläser, die für die Lehre von Studenten zur Beobachtung der Sonne, des Mondes, der Planeten, Kometen und veränderlichen Sternen, zur Verfügung stehen. Außerdem können die Bürger mit den verfügbaren Geräten auch astronomische Ereignisse beobachten.
