Geocache Description:

The cave of Pelekita is one of the longest in Crete, its being 310 meters in length.
It has spectacular stalactites and stalagmites within. The cave is situated approximately 5 km northeast of Kato Zakros. It can be reached by “coastal path”most of it not being too strenuous, but a bit of a climb after leaving village and quite a steep climb up in the cave.
Take special care entering the cave and never go into the cave alone.
The cache is placed next to the path very close at the entrance of the cave. The gps isn’t so accurate so take a look at the spoiler picture.

Small note on cache maintenance: OMILOS has offered to do the maintenance of the cache if it is needed.
