Cache #21 inspired by a list of 100 must-read novels I discovered a couple of years ago. It is not necessary to have read the book to find the cache. There is something about the location that makes me think of the novel.
In J.R.R. Tolkien’s “Lord of the Rings” trilogy, Frodo and Sam are separated from the others in the fellowship and rely on Gollum to be their guide. However, he betrays them and leads them into the tunnels of Cirith Ungol and the lair of the giant spider, Shelob.
I have a fear of spiders. No amount of scientific study will cure me of this, although I no longer shriek at the sight of a money spider. Rest assured that it is not necessary to encounter too many giant spiders when searching for this cache, although I cannot guarantee there will be none at all!

BYOP. Cache site is overlooked by a single home but flashlights and nighttime caching WILL appear suspicious. Should be a quick find and you'll wait longer to turn left at the lights than to find this!
