Minnesota Spirit Quest - Oak Hill Cemetery
The Oak Hill Cemetery was organized as a public cemetery during the 1850’s. It has been owned and maintained by the city of Excelsior since 1956.
Enjoy the view at the posted cords which is the first stage. The second stage is located 56 feet, 237 degrees from the first stage. At those coords, you will find a marker for an individual with the initials C.S.B. who was born in Massachusetts in 1835 but moved to Minnesota at the age of 18 and lived until 1892. He enlisted in the second Minnesota Cavalry of the Union Army in 1863 and served until 1865.
You can find the cache at the final stage when you answer the following question and do the math:
A = How many wives of this individual have markers to the left of his?
Cache is located at N44 54.(A * 48) W93 33.(A * 127)
The cache is not located in the cemetery; the cemetery is open for hunting between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Enjoy!
