Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Woodchuck Hill Field and Forest Preserve. The land here is owned and maintained by the CNY Land Trust. You are looking for a 6"x3"x2" lock-n-lock.

The preserve contains a nice mix of forest and wetlands as well as well defined trails. I'm unsure if this area has a specific geographic name, but it's located between Snook's Pond to the east and White Lake to the west. I've pilfered the name from the monstrous 10,000 sq ft mansion being built just down the road by an infamous Syracuse area developer.

The hide is located about 40 ft south of the trail, close to the water's edge. If you pass the boundary marker on the trail you've gone too far. I believe the trail continues on up to White Lake, for those looking for a longer hike.

Make sure to grab Woodchuck Hill Stumper (GC1Q9JC) on your way in or out.

Notes:
- Per CNY Land Trust, the preserve is open sunrise to sunset. Please, no night caching.
-The parking area and trail head can be accessed from a marked driveway off Woodchuck Hill Rd.
- The container has room for small trade items and trackables.

Congrats to LCSM and Hubbeye on FTF!
