A small(ish) hide in the Woodchuck Hill Field and Forest Preserve. You're looking for a painted soda bottle preform. The hide is located just off one of the nice paths in the preserve
As you walk the preserve you will notice a handful of old stone boundary fences. Nature is starting to overtake these beautiful rock walls. The hide is in one of these walls that bisects a grove of cedars. You will not need to move any of the stones to make the find, but you will need to place your hand in one of the openings. Proceed appropriately.
Let me repeat, there is no need to move any of the stones to find the cache.
Please replace as found, being aware not to jam the container too far back.
Make sure to grab Woodchuck Hill Stumper (GC1Q9JC) on your way in or out. Snook's Hollow (GC3HDDH) is just a stone's throw further out the path.
Notes:
- Per CNY Land Trust (visit link) the preserve is open sunrise to sunset. Please, no night caching.
-The parking area and trail head can be accessed from a marked driveway off Woodchuck Hill Rd. Note, the road in is potholed and generally in terrible shape
Congrats to LCSM on FTF!
