Cache # 41. The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is a wonderful cycling trail between Wangaratta and Bright, with a side track running from Everton Station to Beechworth. The trail is suitable for road bikes. These are essentially caches placed for cyclists using the trail but there is easy parking for cars at each GZ.
** CAR DRIVERS ** - please be very careful when parking for this cache. The best place to park is on the southern side of the road facing Myrtleford. This is a wide sweeping corner with a lot of fast-moving traffic and a lot of bicycles on the trail. The Crossing is where the Rail Trail changes from one side of the Great Alpine Road to the other as it makes its way to Bright. I have created this series so that cyclists can take a break along the way and enjoy the hunt. The cache is a small clip-top container and at time of placing contained a log book and a TB.
