Great cache location to drop off TB and Geocoins. The cache is just somewhere between my friends, Barky and Tangle, meaning it's just the way we sit in the forest. We are there and just part of the scenery.
Access to this cache can be done from various locations. Ferndale Drive North, south of Benson Dr., of further down Benson Drive as it curves, there is a Catwalk to enter the Nine Mile Portage Trail, hike to the Cache from there. Or alternately, you can access the trail from around Dobson Road and Sunnidale Road. The purpose of the cache is to bring you further down the Nine Mile Portage Trail and also to give you a good view of this interesting part of North Barrie and surrounding hiking, biking, ATV, Snowmobiling area. Great area for a hike.
