Geocache Description:

Easy walk on the Pockwock Watershed Road

Update 2014-04-13** Please note that this area is a PROTECTED WATERSHED and all cachers must follow geocaching guidelines set out by Halifax Regional Water Commission which can be found at (visit link)

Pockwock Lake is the water supply for Halifax, Bedford, Sackville, Timberlea, Fall River and Waverley. The watershed is protected by provincial designation and is primarily owned by the Crown. HRWC jointly manages the watershed with the Nova Scotia Department of Natural Resources. The watershed encompasses approximately 5661 hectares.

This is a good road for a walk only, please respect the rules of this area and enjoy. This is a small brown round container with a screw off top containing a few trade items and a prize for the FTF
