This is a series of caches placed on the North Country Trail that runs from the windmills in Mackinaw City to French Farm Lake. The cache is located near the trail which is 1.5 miles long and twists and turns through wetlands (with boardwalks) and conifer and birch forests. You are looking for a small lock and lock.
Parking is located along the road into the stump dump. Please keep the road open for emergency vehicles. To reach this secluded spot, select the third "road" to the west off Trails End Road. (Next to the dog kennel driveway)
Packing a lunch and eating at French Farm Lake is an option you might want to think about.
You will need to walk down the road into the woods a short distance to find the trail entrance at: N 45 45.637, W 084 44.692
