This cache is a straight forward Traditional and should be a quick find. It's located on a quiet country road, one of the 40 additonal caches in the Bones'n'Booth extension(shortened to B.B.II) Series. They are designed to be a variety of puzzles, multis, traditionals and letterbox hybrids of varying size, terrain and difficulty.
The Angelator is a holographic projector invented by Angela Montenegro, a forensic artist with the Jeffersonian Institute. It is also the lab's 3D graphics and computer simulation system.
The Angelator is very useful in solving cases, as it allows Dr.Brennan and other members of the Squints to simulate just how a muder may have occured. For example, using the Angelator, the Squints can determine how much for would be needed to break a bone in a particular way, how tall someone would need to be to hit their head off of a bedpost, how much weight would be needed to suffocate a child or at what speed a car needs to travel to hit someone with enough force to smash a windshield.
It belongs to Volumetric displays used for 3D projection of various objects. In some cases, it also shows the physical appearance of a victim prior to their death and certain conditions which left the body incapable of being identified at all.
Presumably due to budget cuts or the limit of the screen, it was later replaced by the Angelatron, which uses flat, transparent displays.
The cache is designed to be an easy grab, please take care to return it as found. Please enjoy and return as found. Also, BYOP to sign the log. Good luck and happy caching!!
