Hope you brought your camera because from here you get exceptional views of the Flathead River and Mission Mountains. In the early spring the ground is covered with Yellow Bells and Shooting Stars. During the summer the river below is a popular playground for water skiers and wake boarders alike.
During spring, summer and fall you should be able to drive almost to the cache just remember the main road gate at the junction of Kerr Dam Road and Valley View Road closes at sunset. During winter you’ll have about a half mile walk from the closed gate by the Overlook sign and the main gate closes at 5:30pm.
When the gate is open park next to the very large rocky mountain juniper at N 47° 40.399', W114° 14.110' and duck behind the tree to find a very easy trail down to the cache.
You are looking for a cache container in plain sight. While you are in the area be sure to visit "A Hamster Cache" and "Kerr Plunk".
