A large sand and gravel area along the Tama River make this an excellent place for Fly Fishing!
The terrain is not to difficult at the Cache site, but depending on which way you approach the Cache, you may have to scrabble over some rocks.
It is recommended that you approach this Cache from the East where the Chofu Bridge crosses the Tama River.
This Cache is a regular size plastic container with several items for trade inside.
It's located on the South side of the river bank but not to close to the River where it could get washed away when the river rises. During the summertime the area gets very bushy and overgrown with brush and vines which can make finding this Cache a challenge.
However, this is a nice location for camping along the river and Fishing!! Close to this location, the river is "Stocked" with fish several times a year. Normally during March through June time frame. Rainbow Trout (Nigimasu), and Yamamei (Kinda like a Brook Trout) are common in this part of the river and even more common as you travel upstream to Okutama.
This Cache has a Camo Paint coating so look carefully as you hunt
Good Luck and Happy Hunting! Have a picnic and enjoy the river while you are there!
Congratulations to K-Waka for FTF!!!
