Geocache Description:

Chofu Bridge crosses the Tama River in Ome City. The bridge has some good history you can review at the Start point of this one stage (and very easy) Multi-Cache. The terrain is level and it's an easy walk to the actual Cache hide area.

At the Start point, please take time to read or scan the information plaques, and you will need to find the small plaque that has some information about a well know international writer, known best for his books about Japan; Mr Patrick Hearn. He was also know as: Koizumi Yakumo (小泉 八雲) in Japan and actually worked as a Professor at Waseda University (visit link) . There is more information about Koizumi Yakumo, at (visit link) and there are several other Internet locations that have abundant information on Mr. Hearn.

OK, the actual Cache container is located at N 35/47.001

and E 139/15.(X)

To find "X", you will need to find the two numbers on the plaque at the Start Point (Listed above) about Mr. HEARN.

When you find the two numbers, solve the following simple math problem:

X = (The Smaller Number - The Larger Number) + 909

The answer will give you the Three digits you need to complete the coordinates. It's that easy!

Please NOTE that the GPS signal at the Cache location can shift a little so use your Geo-Sence if necessary

Congratulations to Turbo-7 for FTF!!!
