Our Very First Cache in a nice park which I have grown up visiting this park regular and walked to school through it every day. There is a car park here not far from cache. The cache is located along a path which and is easy to get to, however the last part is off path a little over some grass which can get a little boggy with rain however there is shelter under the trees here if it does rain.
(Please can you remember to seal it afterwards)
The cache is a screw top tub in (big enough to hide goodies in) we have rushed to get the cache back in the park. Over the next few days we will put some collector cards in. Look our for them. Please only take one.
We have got to the cache in a wheelchair in the past. With broken sticks and some grass getting overgrown this is more difficult. A wheelchair can get to a place where they can still see the other geocachers as there is a path close by.
We try to keep the cache filled with wipes in case you get dirty. There is a bin just by the bridge of the river. The bench next to this bridge is dedicated to Irene and Elsie who were past of our community association.
Nothing to do with the cache but from the cache if you look to the park entrance you will see a bench to the right of it. If you do go that way have a sit down in memory of my friend Susan who at one point was a big member of the park and did a lot of gardening work. Sadly she is no long with us after taking on the fight against cancer. She beat it a few times. She is missed by the community. You will see the benches around the area are purchased by the Perry Hall Community Association and dedicated to people within the community.
We hope you enjoy our lovely park as I have done throughout my life. I have lived in walking distance all my life. It is a treasure in the area.
