I have met some great people along the trail trying to find stuff. This trail is a tribute to all those folks. In fact, we would have not found our best friends withOUT caching. The things you find when you're not looking.
Next up, 9 Knots! 9 Knots was one of maybe two cachers hailing out of Denison when I first started caching. My best memory with 9 Knots comes from him FTF'ing my Geoprohibition cache just outside of Templeton, Iowa. The FTF prize was a bottle of that famous Templeton brew. BLOODLUST drove all the way out to Templeton from Des Moines just to get second. When it came time for me to deliver the prize, only his daughter was home. I didn't feel right leaving a full bottle of the "good" stuff with a minor. So, I waited just long enough for him to show up at home and the prize was awarded.

September 18, 2022 Update: 9 knots last visited the webiste on 05/22/22. He has racked up 488 finds. So CLOSE to 500! He has hiden 20 caches. I have found 16 of them. Of the four that I haven't found, two are archived and the other two are out at Nelson Park (somewhat newer hides). I will get out ther and find those two.
