The view of the lake and the falls were beautiful today.
Sassy loves to go for long walks with great views. Oh that's me, she just cares about he smells. Anyway, the main trail had tons of fisher people going to the back of the lake so we decided to try the other end. The boat launch was crowded with people. Neither of which was a great area to let Sassy run without her leash. We found a trail about halfway in the middle that no one seemed to be using so we headed off in that direction.
We watched an elderly fisherman climb down the side of the cliff to fish off the bank below us. There were lots of people out today bank & boat fishing and relaxing all around the lake.
We did see two garter snakes on our walk. Sassy just seems to ignore these, but I can’t, I jump every time! There wasn’t very many mosquitoes out yet. The ticks are out and I expect you will need lots of bug spray during the summer.
