Geocache Description:

This is a cache series placed at the Welcome To Lamont County signs along major routes crossing the county line. This is located close to the north entrance of Elk Island Park. Although Elk Island is within the county boundaries it's a land of it's own being a federal property.

Cache is a camo'ed plastic container placed in proximity to the County of Lamont sign. At this location the original sign was destroyed. It was then "re-built" and eventually stolen and the County hasn't replaced it.

Cache contains only a log sheet and a pencil. Feel free to add some trading items.



As always bring something to write with. A pen or pencil should be in every cachers geo-toolbox.
