The road to the flag is re-opened.
To celebrate the re-opening of the road to the flag and scenic look-out in west Merritt, the cache is being reincarnated under new management. It was originally placed by Team KFWB GPS in 2002, but archived in 2010 when the Team left the playing field and retired to Van Island. So, with their permission, the cache is now back in service.
You can either walk or drive to the flag and from there a short hike to the top. Great view.
