Geocache Description:

Kennington Park was first opened in 1854 and lies between Kennington Park Road and St Agnes Place. It had previously been called 'Kennington Common', and until 1800 was the site of public executions as well as being the South London 'speakers corner'. Methodist founders George Whitefield and John Wesley are some of the illustrious orators to speak at the Common and are reputed to have attracted a crowd of 30,000.

This is my first cache hide and I have made it as easy as possible just to make sure I did everything correct, your looking for a nano with just a log so please bring your own pen/pencil. I decided to do this location for 2 reasons, 1: because it's close to home and 2: there is not another cache in Kennington park, Kennington park does have an interesting history, Think Prince consort lodge and you can't go wrong...I hope I got the co-ords right, I'm sure you will let me know if I haven't. Happy caching.........oh and lots of muggles so stealth is the key here.

The park is open from 7-30 am until sunset.

CONGRATULATIONS TO Cache! Eh? FOR BEING THE FTF, WTG!
