Geocache Description:

A small cache placed in very pretty woods. Free parking available at the woods on Longwater Lane.
This is a popular dog walking area with a good, undulating track which can get very muddy at times.
Cache is a small screw top tin, with black tape all over a logbook and few swaps inside. BYOP as container not big enough for one

This is our second cache in these woods. We walk our dogs here often as its such a pretty place to walk. It is a popular place with dog walkers and can get busy around tea time (after work). During the day, we have found it to be quite quiet.

Following the track along, the walk can be made circular by walking from the cache to the nearby field and following the track back to the left, alongsde the field. Not sure if it is a public footpath but it gets a lot of use from walkers and dog owners alike. The track is good and undulating. If the weather has been wet we would recommend sturdy shoes as the track can get muddy and slippy.

The cache is a small round screw top container that has black tape around and a geocaching sticker on top. It contains a log book and a few small swaps. There is not room for a pen so please bring your own.

While walking in these woods we have seen a lot of different birdlife, flowers, some fantasticly shaped trees begging for caches to be put in them but we didn't want to be too obvious We hope that you like the woods as much as we do.

When placing this cache, our GPS did skip about a bit, a combination of tree cover and cloud cover. If our co-ords are a lot out, please drop us a note and we can then amend.
