This cache is only available during daylight hours. Please do not attempt this cache after dark!
A parking permit is required. This can be purchased at the main office (see additional waypoints). Parking coordinates are also provided for you.
Please do not remove the stamp from the cache.
The Big Creek Nature Trail is a 1.3 mile loop. You may walk or ride your bike on this trail. However, you will probably not be able to bike the last 200 feet to the cache.
Take the Big Creek Nature Trail toward the posted coordinates, which are at the start of the boardwalk. From there, continue along the boardwalk until you see a bench on the right. At the bench, leave the boardwalk, pass the bench, and follow the small trail along the edge of the creek for about 200 feet. On the right you will see a large pine tree next to a small tree that is not a pine. You will find a small lock-n-lock at the base of the small tree under the pine straw.
Don't forget to pick up the Laura S. Walker State Park Cache and the Big Creek Trail caches while on the trail :-)
