This cache is located at one of Mt. Airy's public trails. It is open to the public between dawn and dusk. The trail is gravel in the beginning and then changes to a nice natural trail, some single track. It is a 2 mile loop, takes less than an hour to complete. Parking is right off the road in a gravel parking area, marked by a new woodland park sign.
Cache is a small, aluminum micro. Bring a pen. It is located about halfway through the Hemlock Run loop. It is a nice, family friendly hike. Cache was planted with the help of a cocker spaniel and my 3 year old daughter (both enjoyed the hike very much).
