MILK, HONEY and GRAIN MUSEUM
The Museum is situated in Claris on Great Barrier Island approximately 5 walking minutes from the airport along the main road.
The access is open and the owner has a kindly agreed to have the cache placed in the front area of the Museum.
The Milk Honey and Grain Museum on Great Barrier Island (GBI) is the work of Dave Watson who has spent years putting together the display of the history of the early settlers on GBI.
It is a wealth of information, pictures and artefacts, gifted or on loan to the Museum which tells of the struggles, joys and achievements in the life of the families that have settled on GBI.
The cache is a pink container with a blue lid and a green Geocaching label on the flank. It contains a log book, pencil and usual trinkets and swappable.
Happy hunting.
Say hi to Dave if he is in. He is happy to update you about the latest additions to the display or run the waterwheel in front of the Museum.
