Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed with assistance from the Sundre Economic Development Committee.

This area is public land owned by the County of Mountain View and has a small intermittent creek running through it. There is a small pond here that used to be a lot bigger and had some gold fish in it until the big flood of 2005. The flood washed out the little dam just down stream from the cache and I think it took the fish with it. The deer and the ravens like to hang out here and depending on the time of year there can be frogs here as well.
There is an approach to park on just to the NW of the cache on the east side of Range Road 52. It is just a short hike in. Please don't try drive into this site, as there is no space to turn around once you get there, unless you want to drive over the small trees.

Cache is a 4” x 4” lock and lock. Please replace as you found it, as there are some people that like to hike through this forest and I would hate to have it muggeled.
