dawg_cacher: The damage to the lake was pretty catastrophic and there is no way to know when the park will open back up and when it does it will not be the same kind of area unfortunately. I am archiving all the caches out here and whenever it does re-open I will put some caches back out here. Thanks to the few that hunted them.

This cache is located on the Burning Sunshine Bicycle Trail at the Elvis Presley Lake. The cache is not far at all off one of the 5 different trails available to ride, you could walk the trails but it is alot more fun to ride them so get your mountain bike out and take a ride on a great trail. If you do decide to walk it keep your eyes open for bikers and they have the right of way on this trail. Use the parking coordinates to find your way out if you get turned around on the trails, it is very easy for that to happen to you. The Elvis Presley campground is a 330 acre lake offering some of the finest water-related recreation opportunities around; handicapped access fishing pier, shady shorelines for good bank fishing, boat ramp, 16 camping pads with water/electricity, tent camping, mt bike trail, pavilion, and picnic areas with grills; skiing daily, noon to sunset.
