Last Call(Tribute to gaea282,My Family,Geocaching) Traditional Cache
cbj23: Taking this one down for good. Almost got arrested because somebody thought it was a pipe bomb. Police were called, and bomb squad. I was chewed out for playing this "stupid game" and told that if I was ever caught doing so again that I would be arrested. I'm now know as the idiot who his a fake pipe bomb playing some stupid game. Thanks to all those who found my cache and left such supportive logs. I guess I'm done with geocaching.

Cache is located within a golf community near the entrance to the section of condo's where I live. Could be a fairly easy P&G. Room for some tradeables. BYOP.
This is a very special cache for me since it was placed a year to the day that I quit drinking, Day 365 (April 13, 2012. I am dedicating this cache to some very important people, my friend gaea282 and my wonderful family, as well as to Geocaching, my new addiction. Without gaea282, my family, and Geocaching I don’t believe I would have been able to place this cache celebrating 365 days of sobriety.
My friend gaea282 is the one who introduced me to Geocaching. Although skeptical at first, I was instantly hooked. It was the beginning of the end to my drinking and the start of an entirely new, positive addiction. Gaea282 started coming down to visit me in Little River, SC from Raleigh, NC and we would cache the entire weekend, both day and night. Having her support, a new hobby, and the everlasting love and support of my family enabled me to focus on something positive, helped me out of the rut I was in, and undoubtedly gave me my life back. Somewhere during this transition I adopted the motto “Be Happy” along with anything having to do with or having a smiley on it…this was pretty ironic given that the smiley plays a big role in Geocaching as well.
I have placed this cache in the area in which I live to signify where my drinking ended and my new life began. My “Last Call” for alcohol. This cache is a camo pill bottle containing a very special double TB (two personalized dog tags, one with my cache name and the other with gaea282’s name). Each also has engraved on them Day 365 and the date, April, 13 2012. The two are hooked together along with a smiley keychain, a “Be Happy” zipper pull, a bison tube containing the TB’s goal, and a beaded bracelet that reads “Crazy Cat Ladies” (gaea282’s and my team name) and should always travel together. Each TB should be logged but together have one goal. Also in the cache is a smiley keychain hooked to a personalized dog tag TB for FTF (Also engraved: “ Day 365 cbj23 41312”). This is meant for FTF to keep or set up as a trackable for him/herself. My parents have each written some special thoughts down regarding this cache and its significance and placed them in the cache as well. The cache also contains a bisque-fired clay cat paw (an actual paw print of one of my cats), some cat silly bands, a CCL (Crazy Cat Ladies) wristband, a “Happiness is…” keychain and a log. BYOP. Parking is available nearby but may not be necessary since there should be room close to the cache to just pull to the side. Please use stealth as there are a lot of dog walking muggles out and about. You are more than welcome to take something from the cache; however, please make sure to leave something in place of it as well.
***NOTE*** When entering the main entrance of the golf course community that leads to where the cache is there is a” No Trespassing” sign posted. This sign applies to the golf course greens. Anyone who wants can enter into and out of the community. The communities landscaping is well maintained so please keep this in mind when searching for the cache and don’t tear up things. The cache, however, is placed in an area that isn’t a part of the regular maintenance of the community .THERE IS NO NEED TO SEARCH IN THE ROUND-A-BOUT CENTER MEDIAN!

***UPDATE***
I was able to replace the cache in its original spot. I thought there may be some issues since GZ had been compromised...crushed and mangled a bit...anyway, thanks to the grounds keepers maintinance the area around GZ was cleaned up and able to continue to be used as a cache cubby hole.
The original desciption of this cache says that it is located in an area of the complex that is not part of the regular maintinance of the community. There has been some recent work done around GZ but I believe it to be becuase the weeds and brush had gotten out of hand and it is something that is done once in a while when necessary. If it looks like this is not the case and their are possible issues with the cache, I will deal with them if/when they arise.
For now, and hopfully for good, the cache is back in place and ready to be found. Have fun and Happy Caching Everybody!!! :-)
