This cache can be accessed from the Blue Trail at Occoquan Regional Park, though it's a ways off the trail. From it, you'll get a view of the old Youth Penitentiary at the now abandoned Lorton Reformatory prison complex.
You'll be glad you never had to be inside the fence line at this hard nosed penitentiary, but wishing you could get in to check it out all the same! I'd recommend picking up this cache between Its Dark and Old Timer. You can break a few yards North of Its Dark to hit the old road going along the prison grounds. A short walk East along the road will get you pretty close to this one and a good view of the old prison. An alternate route which doesn't require any significant time off beaten paths would be to take the Blue Trail to the second place where it crosses an old road. Turn left at the road (North) until you hit the road which goes along the old prison grounds.
